At times I used to think that what may be my mission in life? For sure it is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style because life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. I always noted that Pakistanis who live abroad has a very wrong perspective about their homeland and somewhat they propagate it among their colleagues and friends who are not Pakistanis. If I say they are time zone locked would not be wrong.
To counter that I wanted to produce something that I am good at. If I could read while I was driving, showering, partying or sleeping, I would do it and thus came up the idea of coming up with a blog site, where, I can draw a picture of my homeland, through my vision, an exclusion that my eyes are capable of, so that this gap between Pakistan and Pakistanis living abroad could be filled. I believe that it always seems impossible until it’s done therefore I infused my life with action and didn’t wait for it to happen. I feel proud to say that I made it happen. I made my own hope.
